Our 5 Step Order Process

Posted by Craig Davidiuk on 2018-08-10 17:51:54

Like the vast majority of companies that sell branded items, we are a distributor. Learn about our 5 step process for sourcing, quoting, decorating and shipping your order.

Reputable distributors belong to a trade association called the Advertising Specialty Institute that allows us to connect with top tier suppliers all over the world.  We have been a member 16 years. In most cases our suppliers will only deal with distributors.  Take a moment to learn about the 4 step process we use to help your find and supply branded promotional items.

STEP 1: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

Most people arrive at our door with a specific need. Others customers need ideas. We are here to help. Take your pick of viewing our STORE or simply pick up the phone and we'll get started. It helps if you arrive at our door with a budget in mind and  art in the proper format.

STEP 2: GET QUOTE FROM REPUTABLE ASI SUPPLIER

We only work with suppliers we trust and have performed for us in the past. We also try and keep things Canadian due to currency fluctuations and to keep shipping costs low.  Our quotes outline the unit price, set up fees and an estimated shipping cost. It's also important to know that the vast majority of our suppliers are located in Eastern Canada or the USA. So in most cases, we need at least 5 business days or more to ship products with ground freight.

If you have a rush order, we will steer you towards a very select group of suppliers who have proven themselves trustworthy of fast turn-around. Also note that in our online store, we have filtered out 97% of the suppliers so that it shows only companies we trust.

STEP 3:  PRODUCT MOCK UPS

Our proofing process is very detailed and accurate. The proof shows your product number, imprint size, imprint location and quantity. We use this document to order from so be sure that its perfect before approving. We require a signature on your art proof to proceed.

STEP 4: PLACING YOUR ORDER

Once you have worked out all the details of your order, we ask for a deposit or full payment depending on the size of the order.  Once you have paid your deposit and approved your art, we place your order. It typically takes 2-3 weeks for the product to arrive at your door after we order. Our logistics team checks in frequently with the supplier to ensure on-time delivery. They also round up the shipment tracking numbers and inform you of the estimated ship date and monitor the shipment once it leaves.

STEP 5: SHIPPING, TRACKING, FOLLOW-UP

We watch for the shipment arrive and we typically call you within 24 hours of arrival to ensure everything is "as it should be".  We ask that you inspect and count your items to ensure there wasn't any damage or manufacturing issues.

We hope this article debunks the myth that we have a warehouse full of machines banging out branded widgets.  Contact us today to find out more.
