We feel the ribbon is almost as important as the medal. This is where you can really get creative and offer your athletes some very unique and eye catching awards for their accomplishment. Full colour ribbons allow for a lot of space to add colour or event logos or sponsors.
The base ribbon starts off as a wide white stripe, How wide is up to you. You can choose any width of ribbon you want as long as we can attach it to the medal using a slot loop or clip on .
Graphic design services are free of charge. You can imprint graphics or even photographs on your custom award ribbons.
The price for the ribbons is dependent on width and quantity. The set-up charge is very reasonable at $45.
The main difference between this ribbon type and our standard stock ribbons is the fabric type. This fabric is very smooth and feels "thick" in the fingers. It has a slight sheen to it and every custom ribbon order starts off as white. It's a specific fabric they use for dye sublimating our ribbons and it's quite strong.
Once your creative is worked out the ribbons are printed in bulk and then the factory cuts them into 36" lengths and sews them to the medals. Each medal is wrapped in the ribbon and placed in a small poly bag for shipping. This also ensures your sport medals don't get scratched in transit.
The art is dye sublimated into the fabric which is similar technology to an inkjet printer.
